The Forgotten Realms is my favorite D&D setting. I love the expansiveness of it, the way an entire fantasy world is modelled in the setting, with all it's divergent ecosystems, ancient history, lost and buried civilizations, and the way in which the races interact.
That said, I'm enjoying the hell out of Elli's original world. But then, I'm playing a snarky Canadian who gets zapped to another world and finds out he's a sorceror... how could I not enjoy that?
