Various crapola

I'm disappointed with the export abilities of clients. I want to be able to export my LJ to a textfile and then run a search for a precise sequence of words, because I know I wrote an entry on it, but can't find it. But no, I'll end up exporting months and running my search when I get home. If I bother.

Isn't it funny how stories can affect you years after the fact? I was remembering the plotline of the "Fall of the Mutants" storyline in X-Men (from the late 80s), and it actually gave me a lump in my throat, thinking on it.

I am far too easily manipulated by stories containing selfless sacrifice.
