First, please allow me to apologise for the bitchiness -- not the feelings, but the actions -- yesterday.

Second, allow me to say GAH! over Angel last night.

I say again, GAH!

No, that's not enough. How about

GAH!

To paraphrase Andreas Katsulas when he received the script for "Dust to Dust" (another gratuitous B5 reference): I don't know what Joss Whedon is smoking, but he'd better send me 10 pounds of it NOW.

Yah, I loved it too..and damned if Angel's going evil again. It was definitely a jaw-dropper.

I wouldn't define Angel as going evil, personally. He seems to be in more of a "supernaturally strong father in very deep grief and rage" mode. If nothing else, three humans were able to stop him from his last act of the episode (to avoid spoiling it for folks who haven't seen it yet). If he were going back to Angelus mode, I suspect it would've taken three vampires.

And I just adore how strong of an actor Boreanaz has become over the years. If he had tried that sort of scene in his first season on Buffy, he'd have stunk up the screen. As it was, I really felt his pain, and I knew it was coming.

Well, if he was really going to become Angellus, then he would have been more devious in how he killed off Wesley. Torture, emotional and mental, would be the flavor of the day.

... ok ...either

a) someone dropped a red herring out there ...
or
b) once again, I got spoilered big time, bcause I haven't gotten off my ass (actually sat down on it in front of my TV) and watched my tape with the last 4 or 40 back episodes...

... I'm hoping for the former. But if not -- GaahhhH???!?!?!

(yeah, like me spoilering myself hasn't happened before)

Which info are you worried about? The Wesley reference? (For the record, he's not dead at the end of the ep, but...)

The wesley reference was what made me hiccup in the middle of my workday, yes ... I just need to set aside ... oooh, six ... maybe seven ... straight hours and watch them all. No problem. ;0)

It was a lot easier when I was subscribed to five and fifty different buffy fanfic lists -- At least three people would forget to put in spoiler warnings, and there would the whole surprise be in badly written screentext. Now I just get hints. Makes my work all that much harder.
