The Good:
The players played well; suggested nifty moves, reacted appropriately to graphic and numerous NPC deaths, and handled it well when their PCs almost bought the Moisture Farm. No one bitched about the endless combats.

The Bad:
I forgot about the mood-setting music I'd intended to use; I got lost a few times in the plot, necessitating quick "No, sorry!" moments. I didn't, in my own opinion, do a good enough job of describing the scene. For the first time in 20 years of gaming, I wanted to use miniatures; 40 Yuuzhan Vong are hard to keep track of in my head (I normally use a more cinematic style of running combat, but it does make it slightly harder for both myself and the players). I think for Part II I'll be using a battle-mat and at least dice to keep track of things better.

The Ugly:
I completely fell apart at one point and had to call game for the night; my brain had gotten all melty and I couldn't even think straight. Once game was over, mental acuity returned. Weird.

Audio: Next week, on an all new And All the Stars, Afire:

Visual: The team battling Yuuzhan Vong, a Voxyn running toward them

Audio: The Jedi Strike Force heads deeper into the enemy's heart.

Close up of JAINA SOLO: "Dammit, We haven't got a choice!"

CLOSE on ISSAN: "No. We don't." They share a look, and start running.

Quick Montage of Anakin Solo holding his gut wound, Tahiri speaking Vong, Kal and Kasche fighting back-to-back against several Vong while Dassid fires on more Vong from an alcove.

A: More shall fall -- and one life lost will cost the Jedi dearly.

Video of an Amphistaff point striking Issan's chest, and a close shot of Kasche screaming in rage -- and firing lightning bolts.

Be sure to point that alcove out to me when we play next. Hopefully it's a nice, protective alcove.

Damn. Still a bit player, not even interesting enough to make into the teaser trailer.
