I grew up hearing that. I miss those words sorely. I miss a LOT about my City, but those words are a powerful reminder. Last night, running through an old videotape, those words came up on screen -- and I damn near cried.

I must have listened to it seven times. I am SUCH a weirdo.

Channel 2, when I was growing up, had the best cartoons. Well, save Channel 44 (bow down to Robotech!).

Screw cartoons, Channel 2 (KTVU) had Captain Cosmic! Ultraman, Spectreman, Space Giants... wooohoooooo!
