Writer Stuff
Shattered History, Book 1 of The Vengeance War, is now fully plotted.
Title is tentative. It used to be The War for Earth: Book 1 - Pathfinder, but then I made some major changes, and started ironing out plot details, and backstory details, and constantly adjusting, and then someone just published a novel called Pathfinder, so I changed it. I'll probably change it at least once more before it's fully written, and then before shopping it around, and then it'll probably change again if I ever get it published. But for now, that's the working title, although I confess that in my head, it's still Pathfinder.
What's it about? Well, in a nutshell, my protagonist finds out that the history he knew was wrong, discovers the truth, and begins a war over it. It's ... well, ok. To do my work (and David Weber's) a disservice... you know how Honor Harrington is essentially a sci-fi retelling of the Napoleonic Wars? Well, this is the same thing, except inspired and informed by the Irish struggle for Independence, which means there will be a messy war, complicated questions of allegiance (though that likely won't come up until book 2), issues of post-colonialism... if I do this right, it'll be cool.
Then again, it might just end up being kinda good military sci-fi. *shrug*
Anyway, this thing is now plotted, and now I have to get writing. I've finished chapter 1, and begun work on chapter two. Lots more to do.

Note: One or two of you might be wondering what happened to the fantasy novel. Well, it's still there, but I ran into massive amounts of trouble with the story, so I decided to return to this story until it's written, then go back and attack the fantasy again.
