Blerg, and stuff
Mostly good these days, but rather tired and sick to death of summer.
This was not the summer I envisioned. Tegan was away three days out of seven, and I had envisioned going out into the world on my own some of those days, but that just never seemed to be a good idea, financially. Oh well.
I still don't know what I'll be teaching this year; this make planning difficult. My VP said I'd hear early this week. I hope so.
Tegan gets cuter every day. She's gone from "toddler" to full-on "child," and she keeps telling me that she's a "big kid." I have to keep telling her that no, she's a "big girl" but a "little kid."
My wife is in full-on "I must sew a lot" mode, and while that's good for her, it means she rarely wants to sit down and be exposed to my weird TV stuff. I still haven't been able to expose her to House of Cards, the original Galactica, or MI:5 (she did try that once, but it was the most Elli-unsafe episode of the entire series, and she hasn't wanted to try it again, but says she will someday), and I really want to. But oh well, we've got a long time for that.
