Silly "Protests" for Discordians.

First: You know those stupid demonstrations where some guy has a sign that says "Honk if you support X," as if the act of honking meant anything?

I want to stand on a busy corner with various signs and switch them out every once in a while. The signs would read:

"Honk if you like honking."

"Honk if you like stupid and pointless gestures"

"Honk if you're not from Earth."

"Honk if you're stupid."

"Honk if you've got a horn."

"Honk if you can't read this."

Second: I want to show up with a small group to a anti-illegal immigration rally, dressed as Men in Black, with signs that say "Down with Illegal Aliens" and "End Illegal Aliens" and the like--but the signs would have pictures of Yoda, Admiral Ackbar, E.T., Spock, etcetera, with circles with slashes through the pictures.

Teaching Assignment

I met with one of the VPs at my new school. She may switch me to a different teaching assignment. There were some interests of mine that coincided with their needs. I hope that pans out.

The assignment I was given is not what I was told it was. The District people told me it was intermediate English speaking students who needed extra help--but it's not, it's full-on teaching ESL to kids with no ability. I can do it, and will if the assignment isn't changed, but I'd much rather take on the other assignment.
