Y'know, if I'd wanted to join a profession that was so universally hated by
the people it's supposed to help, I would have been a politician.
Make no mistake: teachers are soldiers in a war. The enemy is fear,
ignorance, and apathy. Most days I fight with dignity and fervor--or at
least with fervor.
Today? Well, Today, I am so tired of fighting this war I almost want to
find a 9-5 cube slave job.
