Stupid Human Tricks

So, I got involved in a discussion on whether or not White Wolf game books are pretentiously written. I think they are. One guy declared (in a secondary post, not the original where most of this discussion took place) that anyone who held this opinion was an idiot, because the WoD books have words in them people have to look up, so they think they're pretentious. My reply to him said, basically, that while it is very easy to label people who disagree with us as morons, the fact is I have a degree in English, I've never, ever had to look up a word from a WW book, and I still think the prose in the OWoD (and some NWoD) books is often pretentious.

He replied with "Since you haven't said why, I can only assume you're trolling."

No, sorry, buddy. That shit don't wash. That I have an opinion does not require that I explain said opinion to you. This was a secondary conversation, and I was replying to YOUR point, not the original point re: pretension. So, to sum up: Bite yer bum.
