Humbling moment

It is a very sobering thing to realize that, in your concern for your own feelings, you hurt your wife.

Elizabeth, I'm sorry. I was being an idiot. I should have trusted more.

Tough to deal with

There are a lot of problems with this profession, but one of the hardest to deal with for me, personally, is that when my wife really needs me, I'm stuck in a classroom out-of-contact. The only reason I can post this is that my kids are watching a movie.

I cannot wait until next week.

Ugh. What a day.

Today I was told to "Fuck off," called a douchebag, got hit in the head by a small piece of something that was thrown when I was walking around the room (and no one would come forward).

On top of that, I had my first "Mandated Reporting" incident, and one of my students is now under psychiatric care. There goes the rapport I had with her.
