Anger. On several fronts.

First, I cannot seem to get through to CMISP, the County Medical services agency that is supposed to help me pay for my emergency room visit last week. They say if you don't call within ten days, you lose benefits. I've been calling since I got the mail last wednesday, and I cannot get through at all -- I get "The mailbox is full."

What the FUCK is wrong with the county? I HATE government services. ARGH!

Second anger point ... well, let's leave that where it is, mm?

Ouch.

There's really something that takes it out of you when you get a slap in the face like that grammar midterm.

I looked it over -- my main problem seems to be in not knowing the tenses by name --- there are twelve of them, and they are very silly, indeed. I hate them. I don't remember them. I got most of those wrong.

I also got some other stuff wrong, but it was mostly in not doing the WHOLE phrase -- if the question asked for the Adjectival phrase in "Dolphins dive deeper than whales," I didn't put the whole phrase in. So I have to learn to watch that.

If I get a full 40 on the final, and the full 20 on the teaching project, I should still squeak out of the class with 86 points, which would be a B+. So that's what I'm going to have to do. It's going to mean horrible drills, and reading the text over and over and over again, and so forth. Good thing Elli's going to be in her show much of the month -- I can use those extra hours for study (minus, of course, the evening I go to her show myself).

Lots of hard work. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a paper to finish for Romanticism, or I'll fail that final -- and that would really suck.
