Hmmm.

Is it worth, I wonder, applying to be a taxi driver? Eh, why not.

I just applied for three jobs as a driver or delivery order-taker. How the mighty have fallen, no? From "Well-paid semi-executive (I may have been number three guy in the whole company, but c'mon, the "whole company" numbered only 20 staff and 100 phone workers. Not real impressive) to "Please hire me for a job I did in my early twenties." *sigh* Ah well. We do what we must, yes?

So now I'm off to do the rest of today's job search. I might see you all later at Game Night -- I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking I might want to see people. Solitude is wearing on me.

No wonder more Americans aren't into asian music -- it's not xenophobia, it's the inability to frelling FIND anything!

I'm trying to find videos for one of my favorite Korean bands, H.O.T. Now, I expected this to be SOMEWHAT hard, because H.O.T. (which stands for High Five of Teenagers; don't ask me) disbanded a couple of years ago.

But no. It's difficult because every search I run comes up with FRELLING PORN. Even "Korean Music"+"H.O.T" brings up useless links!

Google apparently doesn't recognize H.O.T. as being different from hot, no matter what you do to it.

ARGH!

Ah, fuck it. I'm just going to have to wait until I can go to Chinatown with money and just buy stuff. There are several things I saw last time I was there which I wanted to get a list of online so I'd remember next time what to look for, but no dice. And since the stuff isn't generally kept in stock much, it's harder to find on my infrequent trips there. I mean, who knows if that Andy Lai video I wanted will still be there next time? Agghh!

Update: Finally found the video I was most wanting. Yay!

Hrm. Lots of movies I want to see coming soon. Life I want approaching rapidly. Must get job.
