Yeah. I'm back. Woe unto you.

Woke up Friday morning with a NASTY pain in the entire left side of my head, and a swollen tongue (from some ickiness I've got there). Called in sick, then slept for about six hours. Woke up with minor headache and no swelling. Go figure.

Saturday was spent 20% study, 80% goofing off. Watched a movie with [livejournal.com profile] mslulu I highly recommend to all, Under a Tuscan Sun, which is one of the funniest and most heartwarming movies I've seen in a long time. Best of all, the humor is entirely grown-up and literate. Yay!

Sunday I drove Elli to Sutter Creek, where we explored the town for a little while before coming home and watching some Babylon 5. She's only got four episodes left, folks. Prepare the tissues!

Today I found that while I was out sick Friday, no one bothered to take a look at the work I had In Progress. This is odd, considering that I have to do everyone else's WIP every morning (Not just me, but you get the point).

And now, a very late friday five )

Oh, ack.

I wrote a letter to Jean Gonick at the SF Chronicle thanking her for her witty and funny-as-hell column, Failing at Life. It appeared as a letter to the editor in Friday's Datebook.

If I'd wanted it to be a letter to the editor, I'd have sent it to the editor. Chumps.

Hey, Vegetarians!

Is there a gravy that doesn't have meat in it? I'm looking for something with the color and texture of brown gravy, but without any meat products.

This conversion-of-recipes thing is usually easy, but in some ways, really not.

Atreides.net gets you an italian travel agency. Gods know why.

Guess I should have registered the domain when I could.
