Assorted short bits
* While I'm not a morning person normally, when camping (or otherwise on vacation) I'm almost perky in the morning. Apologies to those camping with me this weekend.
*
datphan won Last Comic Standing. I for one am pleased. While most of the final ten comedians were funny, some were not as funny as others: Ralphie May offended me more than I laughed, and Rich Vos' sadsack act was just awful. And Tere whatshername? Just. Not. Funny. How she got in the house is beyond me. Oh, and the people slagging Dat on his LJ need to get lives. Ok, so you don't think he's funny. Do you need to insult him, wish him AIDS, and generally be pricks? On his own page? No. Move on, children.
* People need to remember that perception does not always equal reality.
* I have a chin. For some reason this makes me happy.

(no subject)
Because
waiwode did it, and I feel like being a follower today.
1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life?
Twenty houses and apartments, most of those in the last decade.
2. Which was your favorite and why?
Hrm. I'd have to say my parents' current place -- it's large (perhaps too much), and most important, it has a pool. It's also set up in such a way as to be a prime Social Center.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why?
Stressful. Too much packing.
4. What's more important, location or price?
Right now, Price. In general, location.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)?
Fireplace. Pool. Spa. Large yard for playing with kids (and big "kids" -- can you say "kids vs. grownups super-soaker war?" Yeah). Trees, preferably birch and Japanese maple. Or Bamboo. Seperate combined music and wushu studio. Secret passages. Balconies.
