Damn.

Sophie Aldred (That's Ace to you!) has a soundfile on her website for her slavering fanboys fans to use as an answering machine message. Unfortunately the MP3 only gets four seconds in and dies. And I've checked, it's truncated on the site. Grrrr. She's got such a cute voice, and it would have confused people who didn't know her voice or me!

Ah well.

On other news, I'm not quite so upset about not being able to do Gallifrey as well as Silwest anymore. Sylvester McCoy had to cancel due to a play he'll be in at the time, and the replacement guest, Peter Davison, I've already met -- and I can't top the manner in which we met at a con these days, so the heck with it.

Of course, I still regret not getting to go, because there will be stuff there you can't find anywhere else, and a Doctor I've not yet met. Hmmm. Perhaps I'll go down one day (I've already paid for it, I might as well) just to see the dealer room and maybe see Colin Baker. The gas isn't the issue, you see, it's the hotel bill. I dunno, we'll see what things are like in February.

Ah well. Let the day's insanity and soul-killing begin.
