The emails I get weekly from Classmates.Com always have the same subject line: "Who's looking for you, Michael?"

NO ONE, ok? I can count the number of people from my high schools who could give a rat's ass where I am now on one hand, and they all KNOW where I am. The vast majority of people from Napa High and Valley High could not care less if you PAID them not to care.

So no, I'm not renewing my membership. It served its purpose.

Mike's car has died the final death. So now, not only am I back to being his frelling ride home from work, but we're going to be trying to get him a new one over the next month.

Ten kinds of joy. NOT.

Well, now I know:

Robert Eugene Johnston
November 26 1949 - December 7 1993

My father died, not of a drug overdose as my aunt was thinking, but of a simple traffic accident. He was crossing the street to get a ride with a friend at 6am after getting off work, and was hit by a 25 year-old in a Jeep, carried 50 feet, and dropped to the street. His system contained no drugs or alcohol, though the police did say "Items in wallet indicate decedent may use drugs or alcohol."

What is with this new text-messaging craze on cellphones?

Listen, if you have a phone, dial the goddamned thing and talk. If you're in a movie, either postpone calling or go the frack outside!

I think I'll go look at Mike's store. They have those latex paintable masks, and he said they have one that might be good for a Buffyverse Vampire. So if they do, I could paint that (with better makeup than comes with it, most likely -- I know the shade that matches my skin tone) and be a Buffyvamp.

Maybe.

Ooooh. My kingdom for money to spend! I found Jason's sword today, Terri. Now I just have to buy it. It is a perfect mix of old and new, just as he is meant to become.

Frankly, I'm beginning to wish that I hadn't left Gamekeeper. Sure, it was retail, and sure, I had to wear the dumb shirt, but I had a LOT more respect there.

I wonder if I could convince the guys at Borders to hire me on.
