Air Superiority!

This weekend is the Capital Airshow at Mather Air Force Base, which is
almost literally across the street from my school site (it's actually
two streets over, but I can see it from the doorway of my classroom). All
week there have been F-18s flying around practicing, sometimes doing
maneuvers and other times just streaking by at high speeds. The sound is
amazing, but it distracts the students like nothing else.

Yep. They keep buzzing by my office window. We have to explain to the people on the St. Louis side of the conference call what that noise is.
