Death in the family

So, a cousin--or, more correctly, my aunt's cousin, whatever that makes us--died last night.

I wasn't close to him, but I did like him, and I'm kind of sad about it. Even so, I'm not really looking forward to the funeral, though if there is one, I feel I should attend if possible.

I had to look up the family relation, your aun't sousin would be your cousin once removed. Here BTW is a handy dandy chart:

I'm sorry for your loss. While my sympathy is not going to do much except sit around like one of those resin figures that grandparents buy you and you have no idea what to do with so you set them on a shelf somewhere until they get culled in a cleaning binge...

Sorry to hear about your loss. I was never one much for funerals myself, but I suggest you do whatever you feel what will make you feel best in the end. Take care.
