Describe your outlook on life in one adjective:
Annoyed
If you were to die and find out reincarnation was a reality and you were able to choose what you would be reincarnated as, what would it be? Why?
Bearing in mind that the Universe would likely laugh in my face, I'd want to be a cat -- owned by a cat-lover, but not one of those awful people who dress the poor things.
Is there anything that you wish you had accomplished in the last ten years that you haven't? If so, what?
Graduating College and getting my ass in front of a classroom (I'm working on it, but it's a decade late). Going to England, Japan, and China. Teaching in Japan (now next to impossible).
Describe the perfect cup of coffee.
In someone else's cup. Blech!
You're out for an evening at a club and some drunken fool spills a drink on you and then tries to pretend as though it didn't happen. What do you do?
Give him the patented Atreides Deathstare(tm). Then clean off.
Anyone in your life that you would kill or die for? If it's not too personal, who?
Yes. My younger sisters. My niece. My boyfriend. A few others. I'd die for the right reasons regardless of who was involved. Did I mention I have a Hero Complex?
Who is your favorite poet?
Yeats. There are many others I enjoy, but Yeats is my favorite.
If you were only able to have one book for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?
Frell, that would be torturous beyond the bounds of humanity. If I could choose only one book, I'd have to ignore the urge to prove my erudition and choose The Dragonriders of Pern, which is sort of a cheat, being an omnibus edition of the first three Pern novels. I've reread that book literally hundreds of times in the past 15 years; it's my "Feel good" book I reread when depressed. I will add, though, that the urge cheat wholesale and grab a Melanie Rawn series would be large.
What was your first car?
An ugle beige Plymouth (un)Reliant.
Are you nomadic or settled?
Settled, though I wish I was more nomadic.
