Grad School Woe
Before classes started, I thought my Irish Lit class would be a killer and my Curriculum Design class would be pretty easy. After all, I've designed curricula before.
Now I'm not sweating my Irish Lit class all that much--I just need to read and be on my toes--but my Curriculum Design class is killing me.
First, I didn't realize (though should have) that the class's focus on designing language classes meant it was mostly for TESOL teachers; primarily those teaching adults. So I'm in a graduate course on something I only really skimmed the surface of when I was an undergraduate. Everyone else in the class is steeped in TESOL theory; I'm totally NOT.
Anyway. Lots of work to do, but first to get the bun-bun to bed.
