Well, I got accepted to CSUS as a Graduate student. I'd love to be all happy about that, but I only have two weeks to decide whether or not I'll be able to do it. And it's very likely I'll have to say "no" and apply again next year.

I'm not just deciding now, though--I'm going to contact the CSUS Financial Aid office and see if there is any joy to be had there for teachers or something. Also, it occurs to me that I could probably accept the admission and then, if I can't come up with the tuition by the due date, withdrawing. But I'm not sure if that will hurt me in the long run; I'll call the graduate office tomorrow to find out.
I did like the sentence "on the recommendation of the faculty." I'm sure they always say that, but it was nice.
