Yay!

We got a plumber who will charge us a LOT less for the repair. So it's being done this weekend.

Welcome Correspondence

I just got notice in the mail that my layoff has been rescinded, and that the district intends to employ me next year.

So that's one worry eliminated.

Now I just have to worry about where I'll be teaching next year, as my position has still be eliminated at Carver. So I'm employed, I just don't know what school I'll be assigned to.

I can live with that.

New Addition

Meet Maggie, the newest addition to House whatever-we're-calling-it-today. Technically her name is Morag, but we only call her that to be funny. Daily use is Maggie. She is adorably sweet and loves to curl up on me, which I love--I haven't had that kind of thing since Shinji died.
