Reality Check

Y'know, sometimes, I get a little stressed about money--not being able to
afford some of the things I'd like to be able to buy on a whim, or missing
the satellite TV (which admittedly is an unnecessary luxury, but one I miss
having nonetheless), or that I'm still driving the Shitmobile© (we're
working on that), or whatever.
And that's all real and valid and whatnot, but... most of the time, it's
actually pretty reassuring to know that we're doing with less so that we can
be there for Tegan. And it shows in how she relates to us. She's
incredibly verbal, she positively adores us, she's super happy to see us
when she's been with grandma or one of us has been gone... it's just
nice. And I'm really looking forward to getting to spend more time
with the little Bun-Bun over the summer.
