Movies that sleep with movies
I love gay cinema. It tries so hard, and so often fails so spectacularly.
I think sometimes they try to make the movies' dialogue so realistic that it comes off as boring. That they often hire second- or third-rate actors makes it worse, but even good actors have a hard time with dialogue that is often realistic, but not really very entertaining.
At any rate, unless you want to see a rather uninteresting love story, don't ever bother with 200 American. It's like someone decided to remake Pretty Woman but with two men, bad production values, and almost no romance. I know these guys are falling in love, but only because I know they're supposed to.
I can't even watch this anymore. I'd rather watch terrible sci-fi; at least the music there will be better.
