Dear Universe: Knock it the frack off.
So this morning I realized that my weird numb-tongue issue had become my weird "My face feels almost paralyzed" issue. So I went to the doctor this afternoon.
The most likely diagnosis is Bell's Palsy, a temporary facial paralysis. Basically, the left side of my face isn't working as well as it should. It hurts a tiny bit (some movements cause cramping because the muscles have been weakened) and I can't taste anything on the left side of my face.
Just to be sure, I have to get some bloodwork and a MRI done. There is a TINY chance I could be one of those rare men who gets MS, but the doc says that's very unlikely. She's pretty certain it's Bell's Palsy, but wants to be sure.
