The good: Assuming my principal doesn't change her mind, I don't have to teach Freshman English next year. The plan so far is that I'll teach two sections of English 11 and one section of Yearbook in the fall, then two sections of English 12 and Yearbook in the spring. English 12 means teaching Shakespeare. Rock the frack on.
The Bad: There is an opportunity to attend (in Los Angeles) a five-day seminar the week after my classes end in June on teaching Shakespeare, put on by the Folger Shakespeare Library. For several reasons, I can't do it. Bleah.
The Ugly: I have a meeting this afternoon that will make me late to my Impact class, which I can't dodge because I am contractually obligated to be there. BLEAH.
