*Sigh* Grading, Weekends, and me.

I had a free weekend, with the wife gone to visit her sister and nieces. I had planned to be on City of Heroes the whole time, at least yesterday.

On Friday, however, we got a crap-ton of work that has to get done before the WASC committee visits our school next week. And grades are due Wednesday. So I've spent the weekend grading papers, and entering the data into my gradebook, and writing next week's lesson plans, and reading the WASC report, and basically working.

Can I have a weekend now? No, I still need to do laundry and clean. Bleh. Perhaps I'll get some CoH time later today.

Bleh. I have GOT to get a better grip on this grading stuff.

I have now spent 16 hours working this weekend. I need to find ways to stay on top of the grading so I don't have to do this again. As I'm sure you can imagine, English classes generate a LOT of paperwork.
