I love these

From the company's website:
MOTIVATION. Psychology tells us that motivation- true, lasting motivation- can only come from within. Common sense tells us it can’t be manufactured or productized. So how is it that a multi-billion dollar industry thrives through the sale of motivational commodities and services? Because, in our world of instant gratification, people desperately want to believe that there are simple solutions to complex problems. And when desperation has disposable income, market opportunities abound.

AT DESPAIR, INC., we believe motivational products create unrealistic expectations, raising hopes only to dash them. That’s why we created our soul-crushingly depressing Demotivators® designs, so you can skip the delusions that motivational products induce and head straight for the disappointments that follow!

I hate those stupid motivational posters, so these cracked me up. Excellent parodies!

Still nothing on the Bazzanella. Don't know if that means I didn't place, or if they just haven't finished. Watch, this will be just like the last writing contest I joined, which was dropped quietly and never mentioned by either Lucasfilm or WoTC ever again.

Still no interview.

Still have 38 pages to write by next week. Five class days left in my undergraduate career.

I'm a little annoyed at one of my professors. We had to turn in "sometime in the next three weeks" a 5-10 page rough of our term paper (which is 20 pages). I turned mine in last week; it was the second he'd received. Yesterday he hands five people their roughs, and tells me he'll have mine tomorrow. So I get to wait for feedback despite being quick on the submission. This paper is my entire grade. I need his advice on it because I'm unsure of some parts. The only thing he did tell me was that he'd appreciate it if I embedded some art into it (since it is about the use of graphic novels/comic books as young adult literature). Sure, I'll get right on that. Gah!
