Apple, I dub thee "Twip."
I get an email from Apple telling me that there's a hold on my repair, that they need more information. I call. There is NOTHING to direct me to the right department, so I get some frontline agent who giggles at me that they're in Sacramento, too! "I know," I say, looking for a knife that will work over the internet.
So I get transferred, and wait on hold for five minutes. I FINALLY get a Tier 2 agent, who puts me back on hold for going on seven minutes now, and I still don't know what the issue is. They couldn't just ASK FOR THE INFORMATION IN EMAIL?!
Next, they transfer me to dispatch, who informs me (after five more minutes of hold) that the issue is solved and the computer is back in the repair queue. What was it? Oh, nothing big: they weren't sure if the repair was still under warranty, because no one seems to have read the part where it said they were fixing a mistake THEY MADE when they did the LAST repair! But they read it just before talking to me, so my time is well and truly wasted.
Twenty minutes of my life gone, for nothing. I could have understood it, if they'd actually NEEDED me for anything, but essentially I just stayed on hold for twenty minutes only to be told "Never mind."
