In which the Mahdi is sappy as hell.
So we're moved in.
There's still some tasks left to do -- there are a few tiny things left at both our former apartments, and then we have to clean them out -- Elli's this week, mine next week after Terri moves out -- but we're here.
The kitchen and bathroom are set up and fine, the living room, bedroom and dining room are almost complete. The Geek Room (home of PC and geek stuff, as well as the guest room) still needs work. All is proceeding apace.
The weird part is the emotional aspect -- every tiny thing, from making dinner to doing the dishes to folding laundry, seems new, like it's being done for the first time, because now it's part of a new life. If this creates this powerful a feeling, I can only imagine what marriage itself will feel like.
