Geek am I!
Galactica Friday! Galactica Friday! woohoo!
It seems Sci-Fi Channel is finally going to have a Friday Night lineup I'm interested in watching, again: Andromeda, SG-1, SG: Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica all in the same night.
Speaking of Andromeda, last Friday's episode was damned nice. One of the complaints of a lot of viewers was that the characters had lost their way, had forgotten why they were friends and how they'd grown together over the last four years. As I'd hoped, the writers had a plan: the most recent episode was a very interesting set-piece -- a locked room episode, wherein each of the crew had to face what they'd become since coming through the Route of Ages into the Seefra system. Now they've been reminded that they're friends, comrades, and they've been given a bootstrap to help them get out of Seefra and back to their own universe.
