Today I sat down and did my books between classes -- my financial books, that is.
I factored in rent, food, utilities, cellphone, and "additional" expenses for the next few months, and realized I could afford to replace my Xbox, provided I did so for $100 or less.
So I did. Well, actually, it was $107, but that's quibbling.
Maybe not the wisest thing, considering I really don't have all that much time to play with it these days, but it made me feel a lot better, and since I made damn sure I wouldn't have any problems in either the short or long term for doing it, I'm not regretting it -- unlike my cellphone, which I regretted a week later.
Of course, I still need a job, but I'm also still going to be able to pay my bills through January, which is the important thing.
