Today I had the most unpleasant experience in a laundromat, ever.
Some guy who wasn't doing laundry came in and started to watch the movie. He was one of those nuts who has to talk to everyone around him. I tried to ignore him by burying my nose in my book, but no -- he just kept talking. I finally got up and moved to stand on the other side of the place to escape him, where I traded annoyed looks with the guy who'd moved just before I had.
About twenty minutes later, he's still yabbering on at everyone -- but no one is sitting near him. Everyone has moved across the laundromat from him. Finally, it dawns on him that he's chased everyone off, and he leaves. And there was a collective sigh of relief.
