Game-related

I saw Hellboy this afternoon. In short, I liked it.

If you plan on playing in my Hero game, you really ought to see this movie -- it's got a lot of the "look and feel" of the game I intend to portray, and the core idea of a group of paranormals who safeguard the human race and are known only as Urban Legends is done pretty well.

Sod it.

Frell. Frell frell frell.

I love British comedies. Love. Them. Even the ones Brits would rather we Americans stopped yapping about. I frelling love the damned things, from The Good Life to Solo to Butterflies to The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin to ... well, there's a lot of them, all the way up to Coupling and The Office. That's all well and good.

BUT! Only a few of these damned things are available in America on DVD. I can find the final season of The Good Life, but no others. And Solo, which I fondly remember, is available only in England. And since I do not have a multi-region DVD player, that's no use at all, even if I could afford the currency conversion in the first place.

Hey, Forces of the Universe! More British comedies for Region 1 DVD, please!
