Weekend? Why, yes, it was nice.

A day and a half without civilization can be a good thing.

elisandra, mslulu, ox_number_10, thunderlord and his lj-less wife and I went camping up near Oroville, CA. No phones, no computers, nothing but trees, rocks, and dirt. Lovely, except for the toilets. *shudder*

Sunday we came back to town, cleaned up, and returned to our normal lives. Eesh.

Hope you all had fun without us.

My Ex has an odd sense of humor ...

So I'm talking to Mike, and we're discussing his new guy, and the fact that New Guy's friends are primarily straight men. I asked Mike how many straight friends HE has, and he starts to list them off . . . finishing with "oh! And you, of course."

I'm so glad he and I have been able to remain friends. But I'm not sure I'll survive his sense of humor.
