The one thing I cannot get over in Two Towers is the arrival of Elves at Helm's Deep. I mean, sure, it was utterly cool, and I love Elves all to hell, but the Elves never got involved in the War of the Ring, unless I'm mistaking something (it's been years since I last read the trilogy). How can you have "The Last Alliance of Elves and Men" again? I hear rumors that Elves will also take part in the Battle of Pellenor. Ah well. It was still a good movie, and the other departures from the books didn't bother me much at all.

NEXT!

Someone (can't recall who) asked me why the Elves were unaffected by the Rings of Power they possessed (well, the Elves and Gandalf, since Cirdan passed Narya, the Ring of Fire, on to him). I had to do some looking into the history of the Rings, but here it is )
