I've been cursed recently by games that looked and sounded awesome -- until Mike bought them for me, when I discovered they bored the hell out of me.

I'm pleased to say that Neverwinter Nights is NOT one of those games.

DAMN! this is a fine game!

So now by day, I'm Michael Atreides, curmudgeon, student. By night, I'm Talloran Frostwine, Elven Sorceror with his panther familiar. Swinging a longsword and throwing me the spells, WOOHOO!

I want my broadband back so I can play online -- I get the feeling that, even when I've completed the default campaign in single player, I'll be more than happy playing the same campaign with friends in MP mode.

BTW, I LOVE that frelling "emote" feature. How cool is that?

My niece won't be arriving until 7pm. I won't see her until tomorrow, most likely.

Part of me wants to go home after work and play some Neverwinter Nights.

The rest wants to go see a matinee of Reign of Fire.

Any takers on part two? I'd like to see if we can decide before 1:30, that way I'm sure to know and also can get Aaron transport.
