I usually use this space to vent about the bad things Mike does with money. This time, something good:
Due to various bookkeeping errors, I'm a month behind on my car payments. To catch up would require me to pay one payment this Friday and another on July 5. The only downside to this is that I ALSO have to pay my insurance, for if I don't have insurance on my car, I'm both in violation of state law and liable for a $1500 fine, but it's a breach of contract and my auto lienholder /will/ report it to the state of California, which will result in a warrant.
So I was explaining all this to Mike (while stressing out), and he interrupted me to tell me to forget about July rent (he'll cover it) and to get the car situation straightened out.
