Would any of you mind my scripting your actions in a very short story that will take the place of roleplaying the battle at Dantooine?

From [livejournal.com profile] stipe, when someone was complaining that he's sick of "anti-American" sentiment from Americans ...

... we're all sick of the rampant pro-American "go go go!" patriotism and this idea that having a plane crash into a building suddenly makes your country immune to criticism.

Goddamned right.

Every once in a while, something makes me question my distast for the death penalty. I say "distaste" because while I think it isn't a terribly useful punishment, and while I think a perfect society would have no need of it, I also believe we're not that society. When you get right down it it, I'm rather draconian in some respects, and I believe some people have given up their right to live. Of course, my belief (despite lack of evidence) in reincarnation makes this even harder to pin down my thoughts on it.

Anyway, This is one of those things. It's about the man who killed my husband's mother 23 years ago.

Be warned; it has a fairly detailed description of the murder.

This man caused damage that is still felt and still evident 23 years later. How does living in prison punish that?
