My crappy morning

I woke up, got ready, etc. and realized I was going to be late. I had no idea.

I got a flat. Too far from home to go back, and too far from school to just leave the car, I got out the spare -- and discovered that it, too, was flat. Shit.

So I trudged to a nearby gas station with my spare, got it reinflated (fortunately it wasn't damaged, just flat), trudged back (I think round trip was two miles), got it on the car, and then headed to a repair place. I figured "Fuck it, I'm already an hour late, let's just get this done."

So two hours and ten bucks later, here I am, at work, with a well-deserved nonfat chai latte. Ok, my weekly food/drink budget is now GONE, but oh well. I'll bring liquids from home tomorrow and Friday.

Class today wasn't as bad as I thought, and Prof. Smith wasn't nearly as scattered as she seemed last class.
