Every once in a while I go through an odd period of mixed anger and fear. I'm in one now.
I just discovered that if I want to transfer to CSUS or CSUSF for Fall of 2002, I should have applied LAST FALL. Never mind the Counselor at SCC told me otherwise, never mind I asked FOUR DIFFERENT COUNSELORS.
I'm done. No more talking to SCC counselors. They're useless. Every time I go to see one, I leave no more informed than when I arrived. From now on I deal /only/ with the Transfer Center and the CSUS/CSUSF counselors.
I've also discovered it's entirely possible I could get into CSUSF. That would be a better choice, so far as my major goes -- CSUSF has a better English Lit department than CSUS'. But the downside is that its much more expensive to live there, and I don't think I could afford it. Besides which, I'd have to a) find a place to live, b) be away from Mike most of the year, and c) still have to return to CSUS for my teaching credential.
Gah! I'm kinda lost, don't know what's best. I'm going down to the school today to discuss my options with a TC specialist. Hopefully they'll be helpful.
